ORANGE DREAM-2 gallon

Introduced in the late 1980s by Fratelli Gilardelli Nursery, Italy. Bright orange leaves emerge in the spring become lemon-yellow with orange tipped edges. Similar to "Katsura" but the leaves come out later so they are not prone to damage from a late frost. In late summer, the leaves turn light-green and some may have reddish edges. The second flush of new growth is reddish orange. It is a nice contrast with the light-green leaves. Bright-yellow and gold fall color. Nice mid-sized tree, 10 -12 ft at maturity with a bushy, dense habit. Best in partial shade, preferbly out of afternoon sun. Well-drained soil. Zone 5
