Bright brick red-pink leaves in the spring with very noticeable black veining. Leaves become more subtle as the summer months approach. Leaves that are shaded show colors of green, pink and cream with dark green veining. Orange, red and purple fall colors. This is not a large growing maple which may become 6-8 ft high and 3-4 ft wide in 10 yrs. As with most reticulated maples, they are best if grown in morning sun in well-drained soil. Zone 5
