KOKYO-2 gallon

Kokyo is the residence of the Emperor's family in the east garden of the Imperial palace in Tokyo. This tree originated from a seedling from the tree in that garden. Bronze-green leaves in the spring turn to moss green in the summer months before becoming brilliant yellow to orange-red for the fall. Nice upright, compact tree becoming 7 ft x 4ft in 10 yrs. Full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Zone 5. Introduced by Buchholz Nursery in OR.
