When the heat of the summer approaches, the color is a burnt orange-purple with gold-green veins. This large tree will become 26 ft at maturity and have a stiff upright, rounded look. Very old Japanese cultivar dating to 1882. Yellow, red and orange fall color. Sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Zone 5
