SEARLE'S VARIEGATED-2 gallon

The best way to describe this tree is a 'Butterfly' and 'Beni Shichihenge' mix. The habit is more like 'Beni Shichihenge' more of a vase shape versus upright and tight. The leaf is more like 'Butterfly' with more white new growth and the green doesn't have a blueish cast as 'Beni Shichihenge' does. It still is a very pretty tree. Sometimes in the summer, the leaves will give a pink cast on the white. Lemon-yellow fall color with tones of oranges. Not sure on the size but it isn't a real fast growing maple. Good for container planting. Sun/part shade in well-drained soil. Zone 5.
