GWEN REID-2 gallon

Selected by Harold Johnston from a seedling growing in Auburn, AL. He named it after the horticultural professor at Auburn University. Dr. Tilt is a medium sized tree that reaches around 12-15 ft at maturity with a rounded canopy. Leaves emerge red in spring and turn to a tinged green during the summer months. Leaves are also somewhat cupped. Beautiful fall color of orange-red. Will withstand hot sun without burning. Originally known as Gwen Reid after the owner. Sun or part shade in well-drained soil. Zone 5.
