BLACK HOLE-2 gallon heavy

A new introduction from Talon Buchholz. This seedling from "Purple Ghost" has black-purple leaves with wavy edges. One of the darkest maples. New leaves emerge have red reticulated leaves for a short time in the early spring before turning to deep black-purple. Fall color is deep bright red. Upright habit with a wide canopy. 10-12 ft in 10 yrs. Sun to part shade in well drained soil.
