GARNET TOWER- 2 gallon

A somewhat narrow growing dissectum with reddish maroon leaves. Not as upright as 'Seiryu'. Grows very fast and will have arching branches. Silver pubescence with new spring growth. Not much known about size but this is a sport of 'Garnet'. 10 ft. and 8 ft wide in 10-12 yrs. Fall color is scarlet red. Best is color in full sun. In the shade, the leaves will have shades of green. The biggest difference with 'Garnet Tower' and 'Garnet' is the growth habit. Great for a garden if you want a weeping tree but do not have the width space that some of the dissectum maples have.
Zone 5. Well-drained soil.
