DE SHOJO NISHIKI-2017 graft

Similar to De shojo but with more color. Nishiki means five colors. New growth on the small foliage is flaming red with undertones of coral red as the leaves mature the color is emerald green with a slight molten look. At this time, variegation is more noticeable as cream-red with pinkish margins appear. As summer goes on, the variegation turns to a more yellow color. The color stays longer through out the season than De shojo. Fall color is brilliant crimson red. Upright tree growing larger than Deshojo. 8 to 10 ft at maturity. Sun/part shade in well-drained soil. Zone 5.
