Purple red in spring turning dark violet maroon in summer. Green veins contrast well amongst the dark color. As summer approaches closer to fall, the leaves will have a brown tone with a green overlay. Fall colors of orange then red. Upright with cascading type branches. Mature tree is around 20 ft with a 13 ft spread. Full sun in well-drained soil. Zone 5.
