Pink-red spring leaves with green center vein will become dark maroon-black red. A copper-red color with a green tint will be more prominent in the summer. Crimson-red fall color. Rather large dissectum becoming a broad dome reaching 10 ft height and 11 ft wide. Very irregular growth shoots. Sometimes they are very long,3 to 6 ft,hence the name 'Octopus'. Best color is in full sun. Well-drained soil. Zone 5.
