ORNATUM-1 gallon heavy

Unique spring color of bronze-red with gold veining. Fine dissected leaves give a feathery appearance on this very old European cultivar. Mounding habit that could get 10 ft high with a wide spreading habit to 13 ft. Don't let the size make it not worthy for the garden. It will take many years to reach it. Summer color is bronze-green with gold veining and the fall brings crimson-red. Light green/gold bark is another great feature for winter interest along with a nice color contrast during the spring and summer months.
Best color in full sun but can grow in partial shade in well-drained soil. Zone 5
