STARLIGHT-2 gallon heavy 2014 graft

This seedling is similar in look to 'Hoshi Kuzu' but it was a seedling from 'Itame mishiki'. I choose this seedling for its odd leaf and color. For 10 or more years, I was calling it 'Seedling #2'. I finally named it 'Starlight'. Small light green leaves with a dark green center emerge in the spring with somewhat pinkish edge. Leaves are irregular and sickled. I named it 'Starlight' for the brilliant fall display. The small leaves look like stars with bright fire red edges and light green center. The leaves will eventually become bright red. Fast growing tree with willowy branches. 8-10 ft at maturity with an oval shape. Sun or part shade in well-drained soil. Zone 5
