Maiku Jaku-1 gallon

$38.00

A bold Japonicum with fern-like leaves that are irregularly divided. It is said that Maiku Jaku is the same as Aconitifolium but, side by side, I do find a difference in the leaf shape of the ones that I have. Maiku Jaku seems to have a rounder leaf with a more delicate look than Aconitifolium. Aconitifolium's middle lobe is longer in the center making the leaf less rounded. Fall color of the Maiku is much more vivid and fiery. Shape of the Maiku has a little more cascade to it versus the stiff look of the Aconitifolium. I guess you could say that there isn't any difference but if you make an observation very closely, there is. I prefer the look of the Maiku over the Aconitifolium.
