Unique evergreen that is two-tone. Needles are green on top and silver-blue on the bottom. Spreading flat-topped form when young. This slow growing conifer eventually will develop a central leader. Cut the leader if you would prefer the flat spreading effect. Can reach 20 ft at maturity but it will take time. It will reach about 5-6ft in 10 years. Of course, this will depend on whether the leader is cut. If growing flat, it will become about 5-6 ft wide. Either way, it is a magnificent conifer. Bright red cones add to the beauty of the plant.
