Abies nordmanniana GOLDEN SPLENDOR-3g

A Nordmann fir that grow wider than tall. Bright, soft golden yellow needles add great winter interested to the garden. When the winter months are dull, the tree shines like the sun. Needles are chartreuse in the spring and become slightly brighter in the summer months. Will brighten a dull spot in a partial shady area. Best with morning sun away from the harsh afternoon sun since the needles will burn and become brown. This colorful dwarf conifer can reach 3-4 ft tall and 4-5 ft wide in 10 yrs. Slow growing and great for a small garden. Plant in well-drained soil. Zone 5-8
