Picea abies DANDYLION 1g

A colorful Norway Spruce with short, fine yellow to light green needles. At the end of each shoot, small red female cones adorn the branches. Bob Fincham created this unusual maple by crossing 'Gold Drift' with 'Acrocona' Not many cones when young but will be profuse as it matures. This dwarf spruce is slow growing 2"-3" yr. 4 ft tall and wide with a spreading, mounding habit. Branches arch downward. Sun is best but will tolerate part shade in well-drained soil. May burn in hot afternoon sun in southern climates. Zone 3-8
