Korean fir with a broad globe habit when young. As the conifer ages, it will develop a leader creating a broad upright form. Bright golden yellow needles in the spring turn light green towards winter. Purple cones are a nice contrast with the bright yellow color. In ten years, "Aurea" will reach 3 ft tall x 1.5 ft wide. Will burn in the hot afternoon sun. Best in morning sun. Slow growing dwarf approx. 2"-3" a year. Zone 5-8
